Meet Dr. Sumer Doctor – an eye plastic surgeon (he performs surgeries around the eyes). He is a Consultant at Doctor Eye Institute, Mumbai, and a Visiting Faculty at Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai.
After a Gold Medal in MS Ophthalmology, he completed a long-term fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Periocular Aesthetics, and Ocular Oncology at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. His work spans blepharoplasty and aesthetics, droopy eyelid and post trauma reconstructions, complex endoscopic DCR (tear duct surgery), thyroid eye disease (including decompression surgery), ocular oncology and socket surgeries. He has multiple PubMed-indexed publications, book chapters, and national awards.
